Hey Guys... I'm not really new to Kenpo Karate since earning my first Degree Black in Tracy Kenpo but I just started training at a local Kenpo school that teaches AKKI (American Kenpo Karate International- Under Paul Mills) My instructor says that Mr. Mills learned from Ed Parker and started the AKKI with "Progressive" or ever changing/ more street Smarter system in mind, it really differs from other American Kenpo styles but only in specific self-defense techniques... ie "Grip of Death" Vs. "Crushing Death"... I was just wondering about what you guys have heard or think about this particular Kenpo "Style" and Paul Mills.
Thanks!!!

I've heard both good and bad about Mr. Mills system. It seems that the bad usually came from people that their only real gripe is that he changed the system. So I don't pay them much attention.

Anyways, welcome to the site.

I Have been with the AKKI for 6 years. I"m in the chicagoland area. What do you think of the speed and power of AKKI kenpo. It has been modified only to move better and strke harder. All the moves still revolve around proper motion taught by Ed parker. Mr.Mills was Ed parker's student and close Friend!!!

PS Zoran--Great web site.

Thanks!

If your in the Chicagoland area, would you be interested in getting together and exchange some training. I would like to learn more about the AKKI techs and I would be glad to show you our system in return.

Anyways, pm me if your interested. At the moment, I am recovering from an operation. So it won't happen until August.
