Cool new look to kenpo Thoughts Zoran! If you are compiling Documents about Professor Chow, there are a few in the first Kara-Ho Kempo book. One is a declaration from Patsy, another is from Dr Perry, and their is also a copy of Professor's death certificate. FYI James

That's what these sections are about, gathering information about various people. Since this section is only for replies, I would recommend you post a thread under Submit an Article. Once it's reviewed, I'll move it here. I also give a little more flexibility wiht size and type of files to be uploaded there.

The signature of William K.S. Chow on the birth certificate petition and the signature on the blackbelt certificate of Ed Parker Sr. are not the same. I do not dispute the authenticity of either documents. The existence of either document does not affect my reverence and respect for one of the two most important and influential people in the Chow/Chun Style that I train in.

...maybe between 1942 and 1953 Professor Chow changed his signature (the way he wrote his name)?

I have heard Mr Chow was illiterate and he had other people sign his name for him.

ORIGINAL: Zoran I have heard Mr Chow was illiterate and he had other people sign his name for him. I had heard the same about Professor Chow being illiterate. I guess that would make sense about someone writing his name for him...

I have heard Mr Chow was illiterate and he had other people sign his name for him. In the cut throat world we live in today, I'm pretty sure there are a few people out there who would try to take advantage of Professor Chow's illiteracy (if he were alive) if they had a chance to get away with it...I guess I'm no longer that naive...and that's a real shame!
