Martial Arts History:
James Ibrao was born in November 3, !937 in Hawaii in a city called Waialua. His first introduction to the martial arts was in Judo. In 1956, Mr. Ibrao met Mr. Ed Parker. During this time Mr. Ibrao ate, lived and breathed kenpo. By 1957, he became Mr. Parker’s first black belt.
In 1960, Mr. Ibrao and Mr. Parker met James Wing Woo. Mr. Parker recognized Mr. Woo’s skill and invited him to his school to document his techniques (Mr. Woo was the catalyst of the first "split" in Mr. Parker’s black belts). From 1962 to 1964 Mr. Ibrao went on tour with the Harlem Globetrotters. Quite an accomplishment for a man that stood only at 5’9’’. But even at that height, he was able to slam dunk. When he returned in 1964, he did not return to his studies with Mr. Parker.
In 1964, James Ibrao began his studies with Kung Fu Master James Wing Woo. After 30 years of study with Mr. Woo and a great deal of travel to the orient, he has become a Master in Tai Chi Chuan and Kung Fu, earning the title of Si Tai Gung.

Mr. Ibrao today:
Mr. Ibrao is still actively teaching his system, which is a blend of Kung Fu and Kenpo. I’ve seen his system named on a website as "Jun Bao Wu Shu Kung Fu". On another site, I had seen his statement and I quote, "I am a martial artist. I do not wish to put a label on it".
Recently he put his teachings on video. It consists of 5 forms. It is available at; http://www.thebelt.com

He is considered to be the most senior Parker black belt.
